Learn the art of Fighting for Film
In this class, professionally trained martial artists/ film actors will break down how fight scenes are made from both in front of, and behind the camera.
“Movie Magic” is a real term that basically means you can create any vision of reality you want, as long as you know how to bring performing, recording, and editing to work together! You can create a thrilling and violent scene on the screen, when in reality no one is even making contact. Or you can create a sort of magic super powered world where people have super strength, or the ability to fly! As long as you learn the art of fighting for film.
In this class, we teach you exactly that by putting you through a system for learning three main aspects of fighting for film.
Fight Choreography
Learn to move your body in front of the camera
Filming/Editing
Learn how to move the camera with the action, as well as edit clips
Directing
Putting it all together in order to direct an entire scene from start to finish with your own knowledge
Level Progression
Each aspect will be divided into levels that you’ll have to pass proficiency tests for along the way. As you progress through the levels, you can look forward to creating themed fight sequences with the class every month, participating in side projects that we will be creating for our YouTube channel, and expanding your knowledge of action cinema and the martial arts in general!
